The player who has the highest percentage of orbs at the end of the round, or managed to exhaust their opponents’ orbs, wins the match. The game was inspired by Super Smash Bros, but instead of a damage percentage meter and knocking your opponents off the level, D.O.N instead focused on a “tug-of”war” style of system where the four combatants must collect orbs off the stage, with a meter on the bottom of the screen showing who has a higher orb count.
